An audience favourite for over 75 years, Arsenic and Old Lace offers up a host of quirky and eccentric characters, fast one-liners, hilarious sight gags, frantic slapstick and an evening of galloping insanity, says a news release from the Gateway Theatre Guild.

"Add a liberal dose of keystone cops Brooklyn law and order and the stage is set for a madcap farce in the spirit of Bugs Bunny and his Looney Tune pals," says director Rod Carley.

It's Gateway Theatre Guild’s Halloween treat, running from Wednesday, October 31 -  Saturday November 3.

Performances at a new time: 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30. p.m.

Award-winning director, Rod Carley, is well known to North Bay audiences, having directed over 125 stage productions. Recent highlights include King Lear and Romeo and Juliet for the Watershed Shakespeare Festival, The Lark for Rep 21, Eighteen Degrees for Maureen Cassidy and !837: The Farmers’ Revolt for the Gateway Theatre Guild’s Canada’s 150.
