Due to the mild weather, the City of North Bay’s outdoor rinks are now closed for the season.
Due to the mild conditions, Laurentian Ski Hill Snowboarding Club will only be open from until 3 p.m. today. There will be no night skiing tonight.
"This shortened schedule is to protect the existing base on the hill. We are expecting to continue with our regular schedule through Friday and the rest of the weekend," says a news release.
Also, all snowmobile trails in the area will be closed effective this afternoon.
