Stop Energy East (North Bay) will be screening the documentary film "Awake, a Dream from Standing Rock" on Wednesday, June 14 at 7 p.m. at Emanuel United Church, 395 Lakeshore Drive.
"The film tells the story of how the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in North Dakota captured world attention through their peaceful resistance against the U.S. government's plan to construct an oil pipeline through their land," says a news release.
