Attempted robbery results in charges

(HAILEYBURY, ON)  Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to an attempted robbery at a local business on February 24, 2015 at approximately 10:21 p.m.  The suspect had fled the scene on foot. 

Members of the Temiskaming Crime Unit, the Canine Unit and the Emergency Response Team assisted with this investigation which has resulted in a 19-year old man facing several charges.    

Micheal ADEMA of Haileybury is charged with:

·        Attempt Robbery contrary to the Criminal Code

·        Disguise with Intent contrary to the Criminal Code

·        Breach of Probation contrary to the Criminal Code

·        Trespass by Night contrary to the Criminal Code

The accused will appear for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on February 27, 2015.
