OPP have arrested a man in a sexual assault case that stretches back 30 years.
On December 1, 2016, members of the East Algoma OPP, and the East Algoma Crime Unit began an investigation of a sexual assault that occurred approximately 30 years ago.
At the time, the sexual assault involved a 17-year-old male and a 7-year-old female in the Town of Blind River.
As a result of the investigation a 48 year old male from Blind River, Ontario was charged with:
- Sexual Assault,
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on March 2, 2017.
