On September 8, police responded to the Allain Court area of Sturgeon Falls to investigate a neighbor dispute.

Police learned that while working on his vehicle, the victim was confronted by his neighbor and an argument started and escalated to the point where the neighbor struck the victim in the face.

Levi Hayes, 32, of Sturgeon Falls, now faces a charge of assault.

Meanwhile, on September 11, police responded to a Carrie Street residence after receiving a 911 call.

Upon arrival police learned that the victim had allowed a man to enter his home, and after a short time, the man was asked to leave but he refused.

The suspect then made his way to the victim’s bedroom where he stole $30, then fled. The investigation is ongoing.
