A chili cook-off and truck pull in one event? What's next?

This sound like fun!

On November 27 Temiskaming OPP officers in partnership with the Temiskaming Shores Fire Services, Temiskaming District Paramedics and Temiskaming District Secondary School, will be hosting a chili cook-off competition and truck pull to raise funds in support of the local United Way. 

The public is welcome to attend this event. 

The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students to sample the chili. The cost to register a team for the truck pull is $40 with a maximum of eight people per team.  

Donations will also be accepted. 

"Please plan to join us on your lunch break on November 27 for some good food and to show your support for this local charity," says Constable Jennifer Smith.
