At EarlyON Child & Family Centre has a passion for supporting children’s learning, development, health and well-being.

On any given day you would typically find 30-60 families participating in activities at the EarlyON Centres, 12 programs.

"Though the current pandemic has presented some challenges, it has not stopped the staff from connecting with their families," says a news release from the group.

"They have adapted the delivery of the programming to a virtual model with much success. The staff understand that this time of change has been different and challenging for children who often saw a very structured routine on a day to day basis.  Their goal has been to continue to offer some routine with their virtual programming model."

The EarlyON team recognizes the need for connection specifically during this time and has come up with some creative ways to engage families in our community through posts, live programming and activity kits.

The EarlyON staff prepares kits for families to engage in virtual programming and families post what they have created and what they have learned.

The Sunflower activity saw a request of 400 kits for families in our area. The kits are free and assembled by the EarlyON staff who provide curbside pick up for families wanting to participate in that specific activity.  On June 18, they are handing out 100 kits to families in our area for the Obstacle Course activity.

This activity promotes physical literacy and creative problem-solving.

EarlyON is an interactive program for children and their families, from birth to six years of age. All programs are free.
