Drinking water advisory for base, airport section of city
Dr. Catherine Whiting, the city's medical officer of health, has issued a drinking water advisory for all residents and properties of CFB North Bay and the Jack Garland Airport. It's the second drinking water advisory for the area in the last month.

Monday night’s thunderstorms helped plunge two-thirds of the city into darkness. Jim Snyder, general manager of North Bay Hydro, said the weather downed a 250 Kilovolt feeder line from Ontario Power Generation into the city’s main generating station.

Highway in Nipissing Village closed
Hwy 534 at South River Road has been closed due to flooding conditions and a road washout, Ontario Provincial Police say. No detour has been worked out at this time, so police recommend allowing for extra driving time to account for the road closure.

Lake level rising, high-water advisory issued
A high-water advisory for Lake Nipissing has been issued by he Ministry of Natural Resources and the Sturgeon/Nipissing/French Water Management Group. As well the groups have issued a high-flow advisory for the French River.
