The North Bay police Service wishes to advise city residents of another fraud that is being attempted in this area. In this recent attempt, a local person placed a want ad in a local paper, advertising for a roommate, to share expenses.

A North Bay woman is among five people who have been charged by the Ontario Provincial Police following a three-month investigation into an alleged fraud case.

A 39-year-old Calvin Twp. woman has been charged by the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit following a three-month investigation. The investigation was stemmed by a complaint from the woman's estranged common-law spouse back in January.

A 38-year-old Sudbury man has been charged by the North Bay Police Service following an alleged assault on a second man early this morning. Cst. Mark McLeod and Cst. Barry MacIntosh responded to a call at 4 a.m.

The North Bay Police Service is looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself to two teenage girls Tuesday afternoon. Police say the girls were walking past a hotel on Landsdowne Avenue when they heard a man's voice call out to them.

A Toronto woman has been brought back to North Bay by the North Bay Police Service to face charges here. The woman had been previously arrested by the Toronto Police Service in regard to complaints from a woman in North Bay.
