Quebec man charged

A 20-year-old Quebec man has been arrested and charged by Mattawa OPP. The arrest took place Monday afternoon after police were alerted to a male concealing knives under his coat in downtown Mattawa.

Dog bites

A North Bay woman was bitten by a dog Saturday evening as she walked along Third Avenue between Cassells and Fraser streets.

Robbed

The North Bay Police Service is looking for two male suspects after a young man and woman were robbed last Thursday. The incident took place shortly after 10 p.m. when the couple was walking along Wyld Street near Second Avenue.

Great weather brought kids in drove to celebrate Easter. There was face painting, sliding, egg races and lots of life size plush toy hugging. Kids were able to have an egg hunt and were also able to climb aboard a fire truck.

Students say yes to CFS

Nipissing University students have voted in favour of retaining the Canadian Federation of Students as their lobby group. A referendum on the issue was held March 23 and 24 by the Nipissing University Student Union (NUSU), and 74.
