It appears the city is attracting a pair of Liberal heavyweights this week as both Premier Kathleen Wynne and Energy Minister Glenn Thibeault will be here Wednesday.
Premier Wynne will be hosting a forum for students attending Nipissing University and Canadore College on Wednesday, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. in the Thomson Reading Room at the Harris Learning Library.
"This forum is an opportunity for students to speak directly to the Premier about the most important issues facing them today, including tuition costs and the post-graduation job market. Interested students are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to speak with Premier Wynne," says a Canadore Facebook post.
The event is closed to the public.
Meanwhile the same day, at 10 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express Minister of Energy Glenn Thibeault will celebrate SuperSHELL Homes and their ongoing efforts to help northern homeowners make energy efficiency their top priority, according to a ministry news release.
