Event will raise money for Special Olympics.

A wrestling organization re-named Northland Wrestling, will be hosting a wrestling show on October first that will be dedicated to the memory of well known wrestling promoter Adam Miller, who passed away recently.

The event itself will see a tribute to Adam Miller and his family.

The show will highlight what he has done for the community of North Bay, and his legacy as a supporter of Special Olympics.

Northland Wrestling has received permission from the Miller family as well to host this event in his name, and will be working closely with them throughout the process.

When it comes to the specific support towards Special Olympics a portion of the proceeds of the show will go directly to the North Bay chapter of Special Olympics.

Event organizers add that this is in honour of the same tradition that Mr. Miller continued to have in all his endeavours in the local community.

The event will be funded primarily through sponsorship from local businesses, many of which are in partnerships with us from the previous SMASH show in the Spring.

However, event organizers welcome support from any and all other businesses to help make this event a success.

Organizers believe it will be a fitting tribute that a community pioneer like Adam Miller deserves.
