Women’s economic development organization seeks nominations

The PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise: North East is seeking nominations for its 2017 Enterprising Women Awards.

Recipients will be named during a dinner and awards ceremony on March 9 at the Best Western in North Bay.

The guest speaker will be Janet Podleski, the co-author of the cookbook Looneyspoons and TV co-host of the cooking show Eat, Shrink and Be Merry.

There will additionally be a tradeshow and networking opportunities, in addition to a silent auction and fundraising activities.

Nominations for the awards are open until Friday, Feb. 3.

PARO Centre for Women's Enterprise is a not-for-profit charitable organization — a unique, grassroots, community economic development organization with members involved in decision-making at every level. It provides programs and services designed to increase the economic independence and self-sufficiency of women and their families.
