A North Bay man is facing assault charges in connection to an incident that occurred at a party early in the morning of June 15.

Police say a group of people were at a social gathering at a residence on the 1400 block of Cedargrove Drive in North Bay.

Around 2 a.m. police say the accused confronted a female victim and began to push her, then threw her to the ground and punched her.

The victim received an injury requiring medical attention and she has been released from medical care.

The investigation led police to arrest Noah Zindel, age 21, of North Bay who is charged with one count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

The accused was arrested later that morning and has been released from custody. He will appear in the North Bay Courthouse on July 23rd, 2019 to answer to the charge.
