Winter storm continues tonight.

Snow continues across the district as its associated low tracks across New York State tonight. Further amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected tonight for the North Bay area before the snow comes to an end early Saturday morning.

In addition strong and gusty easterly winds will cause low visibility in blowing snow.

Motorists should be prepared for hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Snow continues across the district as its associated low intensifies and tracks across Southern Ontario today. Further amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected today for the North Bay area with another 5 to 10 cm tonight. For the Sudbury and Espanola area, 2 to 5 cm is forecast before the snow come to an end.

In addition strong and gusty easterly winds will cause very low to at times nil visibility in blowing snow.

Motorists should be prepared for hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Snow continues across the district as its associated low intensifies and tracks through Southern Ontario today. Further amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected today for the North Bay area with another 5 cm tonight. For regions west of North Bay, 2 to 5 cm is forecast before the snow come to an end.

Motorists should be prepared for hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Major winter storm will continue to affect the area tonight and Friday.

An intensifying Colorado low currently over lower Michigan will track across Southern Ontario tonight. Snow at times heavy has already begun and will continue into Friday. Significant snow amounts are forecast with this storm with near 25 centimetres expected by Friday morning in many locales.

In addition strong and gusty easterly winds will cause very low to at times nil visibility in blowing snow tonight and Friday.

Motorists are advised to adjust travel plans accordingly as driving conditions will rapidly deteriorate and become hazardous as the snow falls.
