A winter storm centred over northern Georgian Bay is moving slowly northeastwards and will gradually reach North Bay later today.

Periods of snow occurring across much of northeastern Ontario will continue today but will gradually taper off from west to east. As the snow becomes lighter this morning..The warnings will be cancelled accordingly.

Travellers are advised to exercise extreme caution or alter travel plans if possible. Dangerous winter driving conditions continue across the district today.
