Loved it? Hated it?
The Summer in the Park Committee wants to know what you think, and it's holding a public forum to find out.
"We're hoping people express their concerns and desires about what they'd like to see," Chairman John Strang told Baytoday Tuesday afternoon.
"There are always a lot of comments in the media, and we want to get people's feedback and shed some light on why certain things are done certain ways. You can't respond to all of the comments (on social media) but if we invite people that believe in the festival, and they have comments, we'd like to hear them."
Strang says the committee isn't looking to reinvent the wheel, but since planning is already underway it's looking for input.
"If there are things we can incorporate this year or in coming years we're always open to suggestions. Having another set of eyes on something is good and we're looking to reach out to people who often express likes and dislikes through the media and different blogs. We want to say, 'We're listening to you but these are the realities that we work within'."
Strang isn't certain how many people will take the committee up on its invitation.
"It's the first time we've done anything like this with the festival. It's a non-judgemental open discussion. The committee will be there to listen and answer questions, provide insight and share the budget."
