Voyageur Days sign final headliner.

The‘70’s metal band HELIX will kick off Saturday’s "Rock Where the Rivers Meet".

Helix will kick off the Saturday night 19th Birthday Bash at 6 p.m. along with previously announced Glorious Sons at 8 p.m. and Vince Neil of Motley Crue at 10 p.m.

There is also another addition to the Friday lineup.

Runaway Angel will open up the Friday new country night along with Chad Brownlee and Doc Walker.

“The Committee is very pleased that the music line up is completed with a nice mixture of Friday rocking country, a fantastic Saturday rock night with Helix, Glorious Sons and Vince Neil, some smokin’ Louisiana Blues from Devon Cuddy Band and phenomenal sounds of the east coast with Alan Doyle on Sunday night,” says Jacques Begin Co-Chair Mattawa Voyageur Days.

Voyageur Days will be hosting the After Hours Party happening immediately after the Main Stage Concerts on Friday and Saturday nights from a second stage being placed in the middle of Explorers Point.

The Dukes from Hamilton will be playing Friday evening until 1 a.m. and regional favourites Toe Jam Tequilla will be playing on Saturday night. These bands play immediately following the main stage music is done.

In addition to the bands, Mattawa Voyageur Days has programs and events happening all over the community all weekend long.

Wristbands are on sale at area Scotiabanks and Caisse Populaires and at the Mattawa Travel Information Centre for $50.00 tax included.
