Clean, Green, Beautiful North Bay’s last major event of 2021, a community-wide clean-up is now underway.
The effort lasts until September 25th.
"We invite you to join us as we work to make our community completely litter-free," says a news release.
"Be part of our Litter free challenge by collecting litter on your street, in your neighbourhood, your local park, favourite beach, or the grounds of a local business."
CGB Litter Bags can be ordered by visiting the CGB website and they will be delivered to your home.
Bags are also available at the A&W on McKeown until September 24.
Litter Bags can also be picked up during Culture Days at the TD parking lot, 240 Main St. East on September 25th between 10 and 3.
Eight crew leaders and teams will also be meeting at 10 that day to do a one-hour inner-city street cleanup.
For every bag of litter you collect, your name will be entered into a draw for one of two resin Muskoka Chairs donated by Giant Tiger, a $50 gift certificate from A&W, and a $50 Giant Tiger gift certificate.
