North Bay Police are investigating a bizarre act of vandalism downtown.
Sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on May 25, vandals smashed the windshield of a mid-sized light coloured car using a large water or gas metal gateway shutoff valve.
The vehicle was parked in a gravel parking lot on Oak Street East, just south-west of Fisher Street.
Police are asking anyone with information including the potential origin of the valve to contact the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555. Constable MacIntosh is the investigating officer.
