Uncontrollable: city police report

On Sept. 1 shortly after 7:30 PM, Cst. Shawn Devine of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a Callander residence in regards to a disturbance.
On Sept. 1 shortly after 7:30 PM, Cst. Shawn Devine of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a Callander residence in regards to a disturbance. It is alleged that a 16-year-old boy became angry within his home and smashed a window and was kicking holes in the wall.

He was arrested for mischief and remains in custody for a bail hearing.

SCHOOL BUS SAFETY
The North Bay Police Service would like to remind the public about stopping for a stopped school bus with flashing lights.

Drivers must stop 20 metres (a tractor trailer length) behind a stopped school bus with flashing lights.

If convicted of such an offence the drivers faces a fine of $500 and a loss of six demerit points.

The North Bay Police Service will have officers giving special attention to these possible infractions during the month of September.
