Two people charged with possession of stolen property

At 10:20pm on the 17th Feb the North Bay Police Street crime Unit watched a man enter a car on McIntyre St.

He removed a wallet from a purse in the back seat.

He left the immediate area, removed the cash and passed the rest to his girlfriend.

Both persons were arrested a short distance away.

Christopher Durst 42yrs of Fourth Ave E has been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Michelle Gordon 22yrs of Fourth Ave E has been charged with possession of stolen property and breach of probation.

She is to appear in court on April 9th 2013.
