Two new COVID cases. Total up to 184

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit reported its new Covid-19 case count  this morning with 13 active cases in the region.

Two new cases were reported today.

Nipissing District now is  registering10 and Parry Sound three.

It brings to 184 the total case count. The latest, 60-79 age bracket, was infected through travel and is isolated in hospital.

All other active cases are isolating. As of Monday, 170 cases have been resolved of the 184 total.

The province remains in lockdown.

According to the provincial website, and based on the latest modelling data, cases are expected to continue to grow, with multiple models predicting rates of at least 1,500 cases per day for several weeks under current restrictions. Daily mortality is also increasing
