In May of 2018 Street Crime officers entered into a Controlled Drugs and Substances investigation. As a result of the investigation, officers executed a Search Warrant on a home on Main Street in North Bay.
North Bay Police Street Crime Unit completed an investigation on May 24 that resulted in the arrest of two men.
Patrick Murdy, age 40, of Hamilton is charged with:
- One count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine
- One count of possession of a substance
- One count of possession of proceeds of crime
Allan Stroud, age 30, of no fixed address is charged with:
- One count of possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine
- One count of possession of a substance
- One count of possession of proceeds of crime
The following was seized as a result of the investigation;
- 150 grams of cocaine (street value of $18,750)
- 7 hydro morphine pills
- $45 in Canadian currency
Both men were held in custody pending a Bail Hearing.
