Children Helping Children - Canadian Red Cross Asia Earthquake & Tsunami Relief Fundraiser

The Best Western North Bay, Angela Johnston, Director of Sales and Marketing, is hosting an event to help children
of the Asian disaster. Entertainment provided by "Crock of Laffs Entertainment" from Mark Crocker, one of North America's best ventriloquists, and Stephen Elvay, an amazing magical talent who is witty, engaging and supremely entertaining.

They will be doing a benefit with all proceeds going to the Canadian Red Cross Asia Earthquake & Tsunami Relief.

Mayor Victor Fedeli will be donating his time and be our Celebrity Host along with other celebrities.

A Canadian Red Cross booth will also be available for families wishing more information on how they can help our community or make personal donations to the Tsunami Relief Fund.

"We wanted to do something that every family could be a part of in helping families of Asia," said Angela Johnston, Director of Sales and Marketing, Best Western North Bay. "We are pleased to provide our facility, rooms and meals for the entertainers Mark Crocker and Steve Elvay."

Children Helping Children event to be held Jan. 15, at the Best Western 700 Lakeshore Drive, show time 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Family packages $25 for a family of four, $20 for a family of three, $15 for a family of two.

Families with more than four members, there will be an additional $5 per child. All the money collected will go directly to the Canadian Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund. Advanced Tickets will be available starting Thursday Jan. 13 to avoid long line-ups at the door.

Joso's & Courtyard Cafe at the Best Western will also offer five per cent of January 15 lunch and dinner revenue to the Canadian Red Cross Relief Fund.
