The North Bay Pride organizers got a real boost today when they found out Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had sent them a message of support via social media on Monday.
“Happy Pride North Bay, everyone should feel free to be who they are and to love who they love, here in Canada and around the world,” stated Trudeau in the Facebook video.
“So thank you to all the organizers and everyone celebrating pride in North Bay this year because you are building a more equal Canada, so get out there from July 17 to 20 and show your pride,” he continued.

North Bay Pride events taking place this week include a flag-raising on July 17 and a March/Walk from City Hall on July 20.
