When a truck hit a parked car in Parry Sound recently, it's owner claimed he wasn't responsible because his truck was stolen.
Police disagree.
They say on June 16, at 11:54 p.m., OPP received a call regarding a motor vehicle collision.
Investigation showed that witnesses saw a pickup truck collide with a parked vehicle. The pickup truck then quickly left the scene.

As a result of the investigation,
Dwayne Taylor, 38, from Parry Sound, was arrested and charged with;
- Public Mischief,
- Fail To Stop At the Scene of Accident,
- Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle,
Taylor was released and is scheduled to appear in court in Parry Sound on July 20th.
