North Bay inventor Troy Hurtubise will be featured on the Daily Planet tonight at 7 p.m. on the Discovery Channel.
The program sent a film crew to North Bay during the summer when Hurtubise
conducted field tests of his latest invention, light infantry military blast cushions.
Hurtubise hired a sharpshooter and a detonation expert to test the cushions against various ballistics and high-powered explosives.
This will be the third time in a year Hurtubise has been on the Daily Planet.
His Ursus bear suit was also parodied on an episode of The Simpsons.
