The driver of a transport has been charged after an accident early this morning south of Powassan.
At 4:51 a.m., Powassan OPP officers responded to a single motor vehicle accident on Highway 11, in South Himsworth Township.
A tractor trailer collided with the median and rolled over. A passenger in the vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the North Bay Regional Health Centre by ambulance.
The driver, Rajdeep Jawanda, 25, from Winnipeg, has been charged with careless driving.
The OPP would like drivers to be cautious in the area, as crews are still on scene providing clean up.
