Traffic stop leads to major drug bust

Three Timmins residents charged as $50 G in drugs were seized

North Bay Police officers broke up a large drug deal late last week.  

On Thursday, August 3rd at approximately 11:50 a.m. North Bay Police received a call about a vehicle parked in the Marshall Avenue area, the caller believed the occupants were doing drugs in the vehicle. A description of the vehicle was provided and located by police a short time later on Main Street.

During the arrest, police seized heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and marijuana with a street value of $50,625, $5564 in cash, five folding knives, and other drug paraphernalia.

At this time police do not believe the drugs were intended for distribution in North Bay. 

All four accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing on August 4, 2017.

In connection with the incident, North Bay Police arrested and charged:  

Kyle Hanoman, aged 28, of no fixed address, was charged with

  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- heroin
  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- fentanyl
  • One count possession of a substance- marihuana
  • One count possession of a substance- fentanyl
  • One count possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • One count carry a concealed weapon
  • Five counts breach of probation 

Samantha Kitler, aged 28, of Timmins was charged with

  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- heroin
  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- fentanyl
  • One count possession of a substance- marihuana
  • One count possession of a substance- fentanyl
  • One count possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Two counts breach of probation 

Justin Patrick Sampson, aged 28, of Timmins was charged with

  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- heroin
  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- fentanyl
  • One count possession of a substance- marihuana
  • One count possession of a substance- fentanyl
  • One count possession of a substance- methamphetamine
  • One count possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Two counts breach of probation 

Justin Skinner, aged 39, of Timmins was charged with

  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- heroin
  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
  • One count possession for the purpose of trafficking- fentanyl
  • One count possession of a substance- marihuana
  • One count possession of a substance- fentanyl
  • One count possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000

All four accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing on August 4.
