The Tour de Trout, with over 60 participants, six land coordinators, 12 paddlers and 15 dock hosts, has raised $5,500 this year for the YMCA.

“Johanne Brousseau and her Tour de Trout swimmers and support crews have been swimming for fitness and fun for over six years now," said Helen Francis, YMCA President for northeastern Ontario. "The Tour de Trout requires a tremendous amount of planning and commitment."

“Since we started this in 2016, we have raised just over $29,000 for the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign in North Bay," said Johanne Brousseau, founder of Tour de Trout. "We started this to encourage young people to get in the water and engage the avid swimmers in North Bay too. The group keeps growing each year and we get to give back to our community at the same time!”
