The Health Unit said today that the COVID outbreak at the jail has now infected 13 people and the outbreak has been upgraded to "facility-wide" due to the further spread of the virus within the jail.

"No COVID-19 infections have resulted in serious illness requiring hospitalization," says the Health Unit in a news release.

Meanwhile, 72 per cent of adults now have at least one dose of vaccine and 15 per cent of adults are fully vaccinated.
