Tool time: morning police report

BREAK AND ENTERS
During the past weekend, thieves broke the locks off two storage trailers at a construction site on Main Street N in Callander.

One of the trailers was untouched and the other had various tools stolen from it.

They are described as the following:

- two yellow Dewalt 8& ¼” Skil saws;

- one Topcon laser level;

- one Rockwell planer;

- one red Milwaukee hammer drill;

- one 3/8” Dewalt electric drill;

- one Wacker vibrating motor.

These items totalled over $4000.

Also during the past weekend thieves broke into a garage at a home in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue E.

This was done by smashing through the door itself, with an axe or hatchet. After, they entered and stole a 10” Craftsman mitre saw and a red Craftsman air nailer, however, left behind a heavy compressor.
