Too young for trouble: morning police report

A 13-year-old boy is among three people arrested in connection with a cottage break and enter last week on Northshore Road.

Arrests regarding the case were made on Aug. 19 and 20 by constables Larry Asselin and Paul Brewer of the North Bay Police Service.

The 13-year-old is charged with break, enter and theft and was remanded into custody.

A 16-year-old male is charged with theft over $5,000 in relation to a stolen automobile, break, enter and theft, theft from a vehicle and obstructing police. He was remanded to custody.

Lyle DESROSIERS, 19, of Morin Street, is also charged with break, enter and theft. He is to appear in court on Oct. 4.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
On Aug. 20 constables Peter Brunette and Mark Ethier of the North Bay Police Service arrested a man for prowling in a woman’s yard.

This man knows the woman.

Brad BOBENIC, 45, of High Street, is charged with criminal harassment and was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

STOLEN VEHICLES
Between Aug.13 and 20 thieves stole a 1992 Ford pick up from All Makes Auto Sales on Lakeshore Drive.

This vehicle is further described as being red in colour with white lettered tires and a box liner. It did not have any brakes or plates.

Overnight on Aug. 20 thieves stole a truck from a driveway in the 100 block of Wickstead Avenue. This truck is described as a 1994 dark blue and silver Chevy 4X4 with a blue cap. The Ontario licence plate number is 705 IDD.

Overnight Aug. 19 an ATV was stolen from the driveway of a home on Superior Crescent. This ATV is described as a 2003 Kazuma Panda 100 cc child size, blue in colour with white rims and the left side rear fender was cracked and wired up.

BREAK AND ENTERS
Overnight Aug. 20 thieves smashed the front window of H E Brown Supply on McIntyre Street E and stole property from the display. It's unknown what was taken at the time of report.

On Aug. 20 at approximately 1:30 AM glass was heard breaking at the Medi-Chair on the corner of McIntyre Street and Wyld Street intersection. A large cinder block was used to smash the window. Once inside the thieves stole a black Dell Laptop computer from a desk.
