A 40-year-old North Bay woman has been charged after she allegedly stabbed her husband with a knife. The incident took place approximately 1 a.m. Sunday. Police said an argument had ensued between the spouses in their home.

The incident took place approximately 1 a.m. Sunday.

Police said an argument had ensued between the spouses in their home.

The man, police said, threw a knife at his wife and missed. She then picked up the knife and allegedly attacked him with it. He suffered wounds to his thigh and hand and was transported by ambulance to the North Bay General Hospital, where he was admitted with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not released the names of the couple.
