Three 'quick change thefts' reported by store owners

The three businesses are reporting losses of $300, $180, and $800

North Bay Police are currently investigating three quick-change thefts that have occurred at separate business locations in North Bay.

"Three businesses in North Bay this week are reporting being victims to a theft done by using a sleight of hand," says Const. John Schultz. "The female suspect, whose age appears to be in her mid-twenties, asks a clerk to have several $100 bills changed to smaller bills. After taking the change in twenties she indicates she has changed her mind but does a sleight of hand and only returns a portion of the money. "

The three businesses are reporting losses of $300, $180, and $800.

Police are looking to identify the woman captured on two separate CCTV images.

Anyone with information that may assist police with this investigation is asked to call the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555.
