A building ridge of high pressure will result in temperatures dropping down into the minus 30 to minus 40 degree range tonight and Friday morning. These bitterly cold temperatures combined with winds in the 10 to 15 km/h range will result in extreme wind chill values in the minus 40 to minus 50 degree range.
The wind chill warning criteria for the above regions is minus 40.
