On Thursday, October 25th, the Nipissing Branch of the Canadian International Council will be holding an event with activist and author Yves Engler, who will be speaking on the subject of current Canadian foreign policies.

Drawing on material contained in his newly-published book “The Ugly Canadian: Stephen Harper’s Foreign Policy”, Yves Engler will critique the inspiration, direction, and effects of Canada’s foreign policy.

The talk will be held on Thursday, October 25th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Weaver Auditorium (B200) at Nipissing University. This event is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome!

Yves Engler is an activist and author from Montreal. A former Vice President of the Concordia University Student Union, he has written six books including “Lester Pearson’s Peacekeeping: The Truth May Hurt” and “The Little Black Book of Canadian Foreign Policy.”

The Canadian International Council is a non-partisan organisation dedicated to promoting engagement in and discussions of Canada’s foreign affairs and international issues more broadly.
