A Callander woman is looking for her lost pony.

Cider, who was just recently adopted from Whispering Hearts Rescue in Hagarsvillle, was last seen on July 30 and owner Breanna Pearce says they only received their newly adopted pony on July 29.

"Cider does not know his current surroundings," explained Pearce in an email to BayToday.

"He Is in danger due to predators in the wilderness,  as well as the major and secondary highways in the area."

Pearce says the pony ran away from Watson Road, Callander.

"We have lost his tracks and manure in the bush," she explained.

Pearce says they have received some leads on Friday by finding tracks and manure sighted near a hunting camp off Oakwood Road in Powassan.

"People believe to have seen him on Kells Road in Chisholm and heard him on Bear Creek," added Pearce.

"However, these are not concrete tips," continued Pearce.

If you have any information or have seen the missing pony you are asked to call (705) 471-9567.
