The Salvation Army could use your help

The Salvation Army is in great need for Kettle workers and volunteers to help raise funds through our Christmas Kettle Campaign. We need people to stand and greet people as the host of one of our Christmas Kettles.

We have 10 different locations with shifts from 11:00 am to 3:00 PM and 4:00pm to 8:00 PM.

The funds raised though our Christmas Kettle Campaign help keep our Family Services running for the entire year, which includes providing the needy with; Emergency food, clothing and furniture, medication, transportation, and Gospel Fellowship Cafe. It also includes; our Children's Summer Camp in which we help send approximately 25 children to camp, our School Lunch Program in which we provide approximately 400 children with school lunches per month, and our Christmas Hampers in which we provide over 300 households with food for Christmas.

We are asking for those who would like to volunteer, even for two hours would be appreciated, to contact Stephanie, the Community and Family Service Worker, to set up a time and date to help host a Kettle at 705-474-7859.
