The Claw Is Out

Canadore College has its Claws out, at least from a journalistic point of view.

Staff and students of the Journalism Broadcast program along with College President, Barbara Taylor, unveiled the new online newspaper Friday.

Verdon Vaillancourt, Creative Designer at LAC Media said he designed the page to be easy for the students to use but still have the feel of a real paper.

Mark Furlong an instructor of the program told the audience that it was a welcomed learning to tool for his students as online newspapers are the wave of the future as well as cost effective when it comes to his programs budget.
