The cAbiners is a folk acoustic duo made up of Dayv Poulin and Loni Konkal.

The duo met in 2014 and began singing casually together according to a news release. In the summer of 2017, they began performing live and adopted the name cAbiners to represent their relaxed and inviting vibe.

They perform a variety of cover and original material.

Dayv Poulin has been a professional musician for over 20 years with projects like Toe Jam Tequila, Le Paysagiste, Konflit Dramatik and Orchid Thieves. Loni is relatively new on the professional music scene, but has grown up singing and surrounded by a family of musicians.

“What a treat for us to play on the amazing Capitol Centre stage! We decided to take advantage of this beautiful stage and talented technicians and brought in our full band to join us, something we haven't had the opportunity to do in months” said Poulin on behalf of the Cabiners, “We loved the concept behind the shared benefit concert series. We hope that we can help bring some donations to the Capitol Centre which is the cornerstone for great entertainment in North Bay, and perhaps raise a few dollars to help with the costs of our second album!”

Viewers are invited to enjoy this free concert on the Capitol Centre’s Facebook page at 7 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, August 6).

Though the concert is free to enjoy, viewers are invited to donate to the Capitol Centre with all donations split equally between the performing artists and the Capitol Centre.
