TEMISCAMING, Que. — The Town of Temiscaming is proud to be marking its 100th anniversary in 2021 and the celebration organizing committee says it is working hard (at a distance) to "prepare a variety of festivities all through the year that will bring everyone together."

The main event, the Mega Reunion Weekend will be hosted in Temiscaming over Labour Day weekend, September 3–5, 2021.

As part of the programming, expect a festival atmosphere that will highlight local and regional heritage and artists through music, food, games, and other artistic demonstrations. The Temiscaming 100 committee promises the Mega Reunion Weekend will feature "activities for all tastes and all ages, reflecting the image of the citizens of Temiscaming."

The committee is also delighted to announce that the Great Canadian Lumberjack Show will be part of the fun at the Mega Reunion Weekend. And, the reunion dinner will be held at the tail end of the weekend, on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

For several months now, the 17 members of the organizing committee have been collaborating with the aim of developing a dynamic program to mark the 100th anniversary of the municipality, including the earlier launch of the event's logo and website. You can keep up on centennial anniversary news by following on Facebook or Instagram.

The committee encourages you to save September 3–5, 2021, in your calendar and stay tuned for more details to come regarding the Mega Reunion Weekend, as well as the rest of the programming and dates that will help celebrate the centennial year of Temiscaming.
