A teen is dead following a collision with a utility pole.
The accident occurred yesterday evening on Nipissing Road in Seguin Township, just west of Huntsville.
OPP say an investigation has since revealed that an ATV was southbound on Nipissing Road when it left the roadway and collided with a utility pole. The driver, Nicholas Isaac,17, of Seguin Township was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Members of the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Seguin Fire Department and Parry Sound Emergency Medical Services responded and OPP Technical Collision Investigators were deployed to the scene and are assisting in the investigation.
A post-mortem examination is expected to take place but has not yet been scheduled.
The investigation is on-going at this time.
