A 23-year-old female motorist is facing a pair of charges stemming from a spectacular two-vehicle collision which left one vehicle flipped on its roof on Friday along a stretch of Airport Road in the north end of North Bay.
Police, along with emergency services responded to the call around 11:30 a.m. on Friday which led to a partial closure of two lanes on Airport Road near Stockdale Road.
As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old female was charged with:
- One count of Left turn – fail to afford reasonable opportunity to avoid collision
- One count of Driving while under suspension
Police say the accused was also transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
