Sudbury woman dies in Highway 11 crash in Huntsville

One woman is dead in connection to a tragic two-vehicle accident near Huntsville along Highway 11 Friday morning.  

On Friday December 6, 2019 at around 10:30am Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Muskoka EMS and Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire were

OPP say the accident occurred on Highway #11 at South Mary Lake Road in the town of Huntsville about 10:30 a.m. 

OPP say the Initial investigation found that a BMW was westbound on South Mary Lake Road and was struck by a cube van that was northbound on Highway #11. Driver of the BMW was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

Two occupants of the cube van were treated by Muskoka EMS and released at the scene.

OPP say the driver of the BMW has been identified as 41-year-old Keisha Andrews of Sudbury ON. 

OPP Traffic Reconstructionist, along with Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene to assist with the investigation.

Highway #11 northbound was closed at the scene for several hours, with traffic being redirected north on Greer Road, Huntsville.
