Paul Andre Theoret of Sturgeon Falls just won a million dollars.

LOTTO MAX odds have shone in favour of Paul Andre Theoret of Sturgeon Falls.

He had the winning ticket for a MAXMILLIONS prize worth $1 million from the June 15, LOTTO MAX draw. He also won $20 on another one of his LOTTO MAX selections, bringing his total winnings to $1,000,020.

The 46-year-old sports enthusiast and dog lover says he checked his ticket using the Ticket Checker while at the store. "I saw Big Winner and I noticed all the zeroes. I thought it was $100,000 – I was so shocked! I stood there stunned in silence trying to process what just happened!"

He is saving his win for travel when it's safe. "I hope to enjoy some family trips and visit as many countries as possible. I'll also put some of my win aside for the future," he concluded.

Theoret , a father, says he enjoys playing LOTTO MAX and occasionally INSTANT CASH FOR LIFE and POKER LOTTO.

The winning ticket was purchased at Gormanville Grocery on Gormanville Road in North Bay.
