Snow is expected to begin Wednesday morning east of Georgian Bay and spread northward throughout the day. Heavy snow is expected Wednesday night before tapering to flurries Thursday morning. Wind chill minus 20 overnight.

There remains uncertainty regarding the track of the low-pressure system responsible for the snow, but total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are possible by Thursday morning.

Motorists should be prepared for poor winter driving conditions due to low visibilities in heavy snow and quickly accumulating snow.

Meanwhile, just south of use is a snow warning.

Heavy snow with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm expected.
