OPP are looking for handguns stolen last week in Temiscaming, Quebec.
Police say that yesterday at approximately 1:14 a.m., Mattawa OPP officers responded to a call about an abandoned tractor truck with flat-bed on Highway 533 in French Township.
When officers arrived, they determined that the tractor had been stolen from Temiscaming, Quebec a few hours earlier.
An investigation revealed that the driver of the stolen tractor truck hitched a ride from a person driving a dark coloured 4-door pickup truck. They drove south on Highway 533 towards Mattawa.
The driver of the stolen tractor truck is also wanted in connection with stolen handguns from a store in Temiscaming.
The OPP is looking for public assistance in identifying the driver of the pickup truck and the driver of the stolen tractor truck.
